Senior Rotary leaders have gathered at the Zone 22 Zone Institute in Victoria, BC Canada, where current and future RI District Governors receive training and information to help them be more effective in carrying out their important leadership responsibilities.

At the annual Awards and Recognition Dinner forming part of this event, RI President DK Lee and other Rotary world leaders recognized Rotarians for their great leadership and accomplishments throughout the past Rotary Year.

During the program, PDG 7080 Doug Vincent was honoured in recognition for his success and 'Enthusiastic Committee Leadership' coordinating the NLB in Los Angeles.  It was a great success and included over 500 participants from several countries around the world.

In addition, District 7080 Rotarians received accolades for the largest percent increase in Rotary Foundation new major Donors and exceeding the $100. EYER objective.  DG Norm Bindon accepted this award on behalf of IPDG Dave Paterson.

Congratulations and thanks to PDG Doug Vincent, PDG Dave Patterson and D7080 Rotarians for jobs well done.
