5 minute Spotlight Speaker – Jini Aroon – Jini’s Ethnic Gourmet
TOPIC: Benefits of a plant-based diet?
Many young people today in the Western Hemisphere are slowly but steadily moving towards a plant-based diet. In India and many of the Eastern countries, Vegetarianism has been a way of life for thousands of years due to Hindu and Buddhist influences.
Modern health information along with Environmental Science is now showing us that plant-based diets are not only better for our health, but also contribute to the health of our planet.
- Have you considered being a vegetarian or a partial vegetarian?
- What are some of your concerns?
- How can we overcome them?
As a Nutrition Consultant and Cooking Instructor for over 25 years, Jini believes that good nutrition is part of a healthy lifestyle! Jini has been an advocate of plant-based healthy eating not just because it is better for our health, but also as it improves the health of our planet! Jini says: “A vegetarian diet does not have to be boring or tedious, but fresh, nutritious and delicious, once you learn the science and art of combining the right ingredients with the right condiments and spices”. Jini has recently trained to be a Diabetes Educator and Coach, and is eager to help you.

5 minute Spotlight Speaker – Vicki Starfire
TOPIC: Reading the Palm
Would you like to know aspects of a person’s personality without asking them?
You could even discover certain things without ever meeting them.
You can do this by looking at their hands. You may know that I do psychic readings using palms, but you don’t need to see the lines to know what I call “hand diagnosis”. It’s a useful skill for anyone that works with people. (That’s most of us, right?) I will show you examples using the hands of famous people!
