| Posted by Kay Andberg on Mar 29, 2013 RYLA Weekend is almost here! We have five students selected for this special event. An important part of this weekend involves helping package 100,000 meals on Sunday April 21 for food pantries across Southeastern MA, Cape Cod and the Islands, and Rhode Island. Logistics are all handled by the National Guard - they bring the component materials in bulk. After packaging, the National Guard will deliver the funded and packaged meals to the local food pantry(s) of each club's choice. In addition, our club donated money towards this very worthy effort.

To qualify, a student must be between the ages of 15 and 18 this summer, be of good character and emotionally stable, and be in good physical condition.
