As our thoughts go out to the Oklahoma communities impacted by tornadoes over the last couple of days, I wanted to keep you informed of ShelterBox’s response to helping families in the region. We have sent a response team, which includes Rotarians from Districts 6040 and 6900, to identify unmet shelter and supply needs. As a Rotary International Project Partner, we have reached out to the impacted districts in hopes of offering relief to those in their areas displaced by the voracious tornadoes. *Phil and Will,* we know district 5770 and 5750 will take an active role in the recovery and we are here to help you and your communities. If any of you hear of unmet needs you’d like us to explore, or have questions about our other current deployments to Uganda and countries hosting Syrian refugees, please contact me directly. Once again, the Traverse City Noon and Elk Rapids Rotary Clubs are spearheading the implementation of biosand filters in Haiti. This year, we intend to provide potable water to 250 households in Trianon, We hope to recruit the help of District 6290, Thirsting To Serve, and other rotary clubs and entities in District 6290 and elsewhere. Would you like to join us? We would love to have you!
